A picture of Jake walking towards Jesus on a stormy sea!
This is SUCH the perfect pic for him...because Jake would be the type to be the first one out of the boat with FULL confidence he was going to make it..then he'd look down..!
So..I had to do this pic true to form...Jake losing it before he even makes it half way..his heart's in the right place..he just didnt keep his eyes on Jesus..and lost faith because he looked down and let the self doubts come screaming in! Hence the title..we have to believe in Jesus and God by keeping faith in THEM..and not what we see.

WOW!!! I needed to see this tonight!!! How in the world did you do this? It's amazing! The water is so beautiful... the colors are so complex but blend so seamlessly... and the way you put the small dots at the top gave the waves such a sense of movement but kept it really subtle so it didn't take away from Jake and Jesus. (I love the water so much - I could keep looking at that forever!). The way you do the expressions... they are so true-to-life! Wanting to trust, but being fearful at the same time. I can feel what he is feeling... And to see the hand coming out of the glow...reaching out to bring us to safety! Beautiful!!! I wish I could put this on my computer to see every day! Thanks for sharing these amazing pictures... they are really encouraging!
